Panini at last :)

The long wait is over...

I've been dying to eat this since I saw it at SBC, although there was no perfect time to eat. what I mean is, whenever we go there we were always done eating.

Awhile ago, we met up with our chief finance officer- stephen, we talked there since SBC is just near where he is billeted.

I ordered Pesto- Tomato & Mozzarella. I like the taste, not to overpowering... one of these days I'll try the others.. or might as well get a panini maker and experiment with different variants.

BTW, it's SBC- ongpin branch, so while we were there I had a dose of Chinitos passing by... now I kind of appreciate them except for their super fair skin which I envy.. haha.. :)

I would love to go back to Binondo and try their authentic Chinese foods...

double dutch- cake

Ok! My lola seriously had a celebration even though my uncle is in the province. Last 12 October he turned 50, a small lunch/merienda was done, menudo and spaghetti courtesy of my tita and the lovely cake (which is a slice left in the image) was from Nanay (my other tita).

The cake is from Goldilocks, flavor is Double Dutch and I was like- "really?" I love that ice cream flavor and having this one as a cake variation is something new. It has different layers- bottom is chocolate, then an icing with choco chips and upper part is like a butter cake. I find the choco fudge too sweet.

Honestly, I favored Red Ribbon more than them, but probably I could reconsider when it comes to this creation that they have...

yum, yum, yum :)

la paz batchoy

Right after "the appointment" we had in Makati which ended 30 minutes before lunch, Mama and I found ourselves in Landmark- hungry. This is what I love when I'm with her we totally click when it comes to food unlike my pesky sister who is very picky with foods. >:)

Instead of going to some restaurants we decided to go downstairs and try Landmark's food court. wow! it changed already. It's more strategic and spacious plus i like the color of the seats (blue green)... More, I've found Ilonggo Grill- oh how I've missed their food. I was looking for it since it was affected by the Glorietta bombing incident. now i know their new location...

Happy as can be, I ordered La Paz Batchoy and crablets... yum! yum! nothing beats authentic Filipino foods.. :)

(sorry for the pic, I got too excited I mixed it already.. haha )

hair do- level up ;)

Dear Blog,

This day (10-01-10) marks the very first time I opted treatment for my hair. My hair ain't jet-black anymore.. :)

Whew! what a decision, but change is good so I went for it.

Cellophane at Bench Fix Salon. No regrets I love what they did to it, but I think i should need a hot oil since it made my hair a bit dry which I think a side effect of such treatment...

Hmmm...

That's all for now.

Good night :)

(much better if it's near a light)

another FRO-YO down south

Gone are the days when I crave for Ice cream whenever I go to the mall. With the rise of different frozen yoghurt stores having a cold and delightful dessert has been guilt-free.

Another frozen yoghurt - California Berry is now open in Festival Mall- 3rd level just beside Rack's.

It's my first time having a taste of this brand of fro-yo and in my opinion, it's a bit tart compared to White Hat and Red Mango. They have different combinations, yet we decided to choose our own toppings. We got their original yoghurt flavor, mine topped with walnuts, for mama, she had almonds and lychee.

Price: It differs for the original and season special.
Medium: Original 85 php +20 for 1 topping Large: 115 +3 toppings.
( I can't remember all, but almost the same price for the other fro-yo stores)

The place is still new, my mother said she can still smell the paint. Plus, the toppings are quiet few and not that attractive to my eyes- too few in their containers. But, still as a fan of frozen yoghurt I appreciate that there's a store in Festival already, at least I can have my ounce of yoghurt especially if I'm too lazy to go to ATC...

I'm still anticipating for Red Mango... It's irreplaceable... ;)

Etude House

My admiration for "Korean series" is back on track. This new series (He's Beautiful), well it's shown last 2009 in Korea, but it was just this year that it was shown by ABS-CBN. Gaah! one of its lead actor caught my attention.

What is the relation of Etude House?

Well, it's a Korean brand of beauty products same as Elianto and Face Shop. One thing that sets apart this shop is it's too cute not to notice- all pink, with pretty interiors... Lots of testers.. :) downside, the instructions are in korean alphabets.

Ok. got 2 stuffs. One is the Apricot Stick:

It's like a lip gloss only it's not that glossy. I like the color and it smells like candy. I use it as an alternate with my Maybelline tinted lip balm, as this products tends to dry the lips when used longer.

Next is the over-all spray.

I thought it was named as over-all as in for the whole body. hmm... I'm quite right. It can be used for the body, yet it can also be used as a fragrance for your room, bags and even shoes. It has three variance, but my sister insisted that this one is a lot better.

The experience was nice. In my mind I'm wishing that I'll have a make-up room like that in the future...

price is acceptable considering it as an imported brand. Their facial wash, toners and others are much pricey compared to the cosmetics...

They even included a cute pen in my bag and a membership also, giving you a 10% rebate the next time you purchase something.

decision- DONE

Now, I've finally decided on what to do with this blog. :)

It will be a travel diary, food blog, and perhaps a movie and product review site. Although sometimes you might see random rants, but I swear it will just be the funny ones.

Let me start by sharing this:

Overheard conversation

Girl1: "Nakakainis naabutan pa ako ng IELTS na to"
Girl2: "oo nga eh. dati di naman kelangan to."
G1: "ang ayaw ko lang... bakit nag-eexpire every 2 years, as if mawawala ang English mo after 2 years.."

- in fer! may point si ate :)

Annoying convo... Imagine kung si Vice Ganda ang nakausap ng taong ito:

location: IDP speaking venue

Boy: Mag-IELTS ka?
Girl: yup! (hello?!

Girl: Oo. (annoyed. hello, nakikita mo ba to PRC license!?!)

-tsk! tsk! ay si kuya... makapagtanong lang.. and FYI it's a crime to talk to a fellow exam taker during the speaking exam. pasalamat ka kuya di ka napansin...

haha.. :))

on to a new light..

Because I want my life to be full of positive energies and I want to be reconnected to one of my passion which is "writing". I've deleted some posts here which are "funny" and reminds me of my stupidity (hahaha) :D

In few weeks time, I'll be more active updating this blog, not with my "emo" sentiments, but with exciting raves, adventures and experiences...

*hugs*
